Gentle local connection for mothers and babies
Mums & Bubs Social Circles are relaxed local gatherings for mothers and babies to connect, chat, and build community.
They are a gentle, welcoming way to meet other local mums, share the early parenting season, and feel more supported in the everyday rhythms of life with a baby.
These gatherings are community-led rather than formally facilitated. They may include simple meetups such as coffee, park catch-ups, walks, or post-session social gatherings connected to our local Nurturing Beginnings communities.
A more connected beginning
The early months of parenthood can be beautiful, stretching, tender, and isolating — often all at once.
Many mothers are looking for a place where they can simply arrive as they are, meet others in a similar season, and feel part of a local community.
Mums & Bubs Social Circles have been created to offer a low-pressure entry point into the Nurturing Beginnings community, especially for families who are looking for social connection, local friendships, and ongoing support.

How Social Circles work
Social Circles may look slightly different in each location depending on the needs and rhythms of the local community.
They may include:
casual coffee catch-ups
park meetups
pram walks
post-session social gatherings
WhatsApp-based local connection
parent-led invitations to meet up with other families nearby
As each circle grows, we hope to support local parents to gently take the lead in creating simple opportunities for connection.
Connected to our Mother’s Groups
Our Mother’s Group is a small, guided, term-based program for families wanting deeper support around baby development and respectful parenting.
Mums & Bubs Social Circles sit alongside the program as a broader community layer.
They offer families a way to connect with the Nurturing Beginnings community even when program places are full, or when a more flexible social space is the best fit for this season.
For some families, Social Circles may be the main support they are looking for. For others, they may become a gentle pathway into one of our facilitated Mother’s Groups when a suitable place becomes available.
